20 Influential Points for a Maximized YOU

On Being a Creator

1.  You are a creator. You were created in order to create.

2.  Creators give. Your purpose for existing is to create value, solutions, new opportunities, and direction for others.

3.  Creators have proper perspective. Creators see opportunity when all others see lack.

4.  Creators are not competitors. Creators do not misdirect energy by focusing on, and reacting to, what others do. Creators continually focus on their purpose: creating value for others.

5.  Competition is a distraction for the creator; limiting his or her ability to create.  A distracted creator impoverishes others by failing to create value.

6.  Creators are mentors. Always encourage others to create.

7.  Creators celebrate. As a creator, you are not bound by competition, therefore you are free to celebrate the creations of others.

8.  Creators never lack. Do you lack what you need -- the basic necessities for living? Then you are not living as a creator.  Physical rewards will come when you enrich others with your creations.

9.  Your creations are unique. No other person on the planet is exactly like you, therefore, what you create will be always be different from what others create.

10.  Creators change the world through their creations.  The world is changed everytime something new is created.  Everything you create is new, because no one else creates like you -- for you are unique.

11.  Creators see so-called failure as an opportunity to learn, to improve, and to succeed next time.

12. Everyone alive has the potential to live as a creator, but few actually do. The creative potential of most people is limited by the fear of failure, the opinion of others, and the grip of competition.

13. Creators seek out other creators. Unity of purpose is empowering.

14. Creators don't define "No" as the last word.  "No" is not an obstacle to overcome, it is a key to open another more-creative door.  Where is your "No" leading you?

15. Creators identify that which must be created.  An identified need is the first necessity of the Creation Process.  What do you and others need? Is it in your power to bring it about? Then do so, and don't stop working until it is so.

16. As a creator you must seek times of rest. The thought process is the second necessity of the Creation Process, therefore, creators must escape busyness in order to think.  Busyness is the death of creative thinking.

17. Creators value work. Action is the third necessity of the Creation Process.

18. Creators never quit. Perserverence is the fourth necessity of the Creation Process.

19. Creators see the world as a place of endless opportunities. What do you see that others cannot or will not?

20. Creators recognize the value and potential of every human being, because every human is created to create.
